My stupid grin is all about the realisation that... I've been acting as a giant cosmic shmuck.. I think we laugh hardest at ourselves right after taking ourselves a bit too seriously. It's cathartic!

What a truth this is, for all of us! I agree, we do laugh hardest at ourselves; especially if we have any sense of humility at all. As a species we tend to be so pompous and arrogant that we need to be taken down a peg so we aren't continually a cosmic shmuk! Tell me, out of curiosity, did you ever hang out at Renderosity under the screen name of "MrPsiquedelico" back around 2004-2006?
